loDicom Viewer app for iPhone and iPad

loDicom Viewer is one of the most complete DICOM viewer for iPad, it allows you to view, archive and transfer 2D medical images in DICOM format.

loDicom Viewer integrates a complete file manager, you can create new folder, cut, copy & paste files, rename a file or folder, delete files or folder, uncompress zip file or compress files or folder.
All archived files are indexed to database so they can be shown even in the classical hierarchy patient/study/series/images.You can also retrieve them easily through the use of certain search filters.

loDicom Viewer offers advanced features, such as length, area and angle measurements, mask and annotation texts, calibration and US region calibration support.
A complete set of image processing functions are available: histogram visualization, equalization, level adjustment, gamma correction and different types of thresholding, blur, gaussian blur, sharpen, edge detection, emboss, negate, vertical and horizontal flip and rotation.
It is possible to create a MPEG1 or MPEG2 video from a multiframe DICOM file or from a series of images.

loDicom Viewer provides a complete suite of DICOM network services. You can verify basic DICOM connectivity, transfer images from the app to another DICOM compatible software or vice versa, allows you to make interactive Query/Retrieve to download a complete study, series or chosen images from PACS system.
You can also transfer files from one iPad to another, setting one as sender and other as receiver.
All files transfer operations occur asynchronously, this means that the user can continue to work while the files are transfered to or from other DICOM applications.

Limitations:

This software can only be used as a reviewing or scientific software and cannot be used as a medical device for primary diagnostic or any other clinical practice.
